Title: 96 ZR440 fuel starvation?
Post by: CanForcesDad on October 09, 2017, 07:54:12 PM
My 96 will launch like a missile but if and when I let off the throttle, I start getting bogging problems. I can feather the throttle back and forth and it will keep me moving, then I can hit the throttle again. But if I try to just cruise normally, it will begin to go boggy again.

Any thoughts. Would like to finally take it for a good ride this year

sounds like a carb clean is in need,  and perhaps change the fuel filter and pump/s
