Title: New metal for me also
Post by: Zman on March 14, 2019, 09:22:43 PM
I know there is at least one airplane owner on this site ………….

I thought I would show you my new old airplane.

I sold the Cessna 177 Cardinal and picked up this 64 S35 Bonanza………….It has needed a lot of work and I’m almost done.

You think sleds can burn up your lunch money!

I had a 75 cardinal - should have kept it.  sold it and bought a 72 Cherokee 6 300 w/seating for 7.   flying pick up truck  1100 lbs load with fuel fuel   also burned a lot of fuel w/flight plan speed of 140 kts (and that was generous)   keeping up with the fuel bill was getting tough.  slowest 300 HP plane but you could carry a lot
