Nice sled RD !
I picked up a new 2019SB600x144 last year and loved it. Put stupid high miles on last year as my part of the UP got pounded with snow most of the winter, even rode mid April with one last 12" spring storm  :thumbsupsmileyanim:

My oldest just started college this year, that's pretty much 2 snowmobiles per year x the next 8-9 years..... It's exciting, but really freaking me out, only having one kid at home right now.....

Looking forward to fall and winter!
Riding the Harley 3-4 times a day since July, fun but it's taking a toll on my mental state, as in, I want to punch 80% of the drivers around me, who are on their phones and not paying attention. It's really not as much fun as it used to be anymore.... Snowmobiling remains my favorite past time....

I had a tnt 340 1975 model back in the 80's. It was super finicky. Ended up putting a VM carb on it and it was still a PIA.  The cats all ran so well. The zooks were done right. Check out this little screamer.

AJ on a Japanese bike

As long as they have knobby tires, that's totally acceptable. Street tires =  :nono:

Spotted one of those in a barn in Green Bay this last weekend (Sat March 23rd) Of course there were about 199 others that were older.
We were on a tour from the AWSC Convention. I do believe that it was the newest one I remember. The guy actually had 236 sleds but only about 200 on display.

The finished product.  Nice riding machine for it's age.

That's a purdy machine.....  :thumbsupsmileyanim:

This was a great season to have some new iron !  :sledder:

It was really hard for me to justify the costs, but having 3-4 feet of snow on the ground for 1/2 the season was really nice ! Especially for goofs like me buying a longer track sled..... I still think I can squeeze a few hours in the woods next weekend

I was hoping to get one more ride in this weekend, but I have family staying with me this weekend, last minute - so I think I blew my shot....
Hoping I can mess around on my property next weekend, and just play in the shady forest .......

Between both machines, my mileage total is 1,350 for the season.

Now I need to tear down my Ski Doo motor as I stuck it on that last ride with 9,995 miles on it. My goal was to reach 10,000 but that didn't happen.....  :banghead:
Need to see how bad I damaged the motor, hoping just for a top end swap out and keep it as a spare machine....

People are still trail riding near my place, but this week is going to be a real challenge with temps in the mid 50's during the day.....

Hey Andy, you sure this isn't you posting on another user name? Looks like your garage/hanger. When did you add the carpet?
Looks nice!!!

SP's hanger got "less clean" since the last time you've seen it  :floor:

Nice ride Zman! I could use one of those!

Vilas conditions are going to change drastically starting tomorrow. I am probably done. Around 1800-1900 miles this season

Low 50's starting 03/14/19, but still more snow in the forecast later in the week.
I'm hoping to get one more ride in, even if it's on my own property ......

virgin as in never been modded or apart  nun been changed once tho

I when hear you use the words Virgin and Nun in the same sentence, I still think lie......  :floor:

I've got a 06 or 05 gtx 500SS with a virgin motor in it.  its been parked in the hangar all season.  was seriously thinking of selling it for cheap.... if your looking for a motor donor you could get a lot of other parts too.   Dr. Greekenstein - the cadaver is warm

When you say the word "Virgin" it sounds like a complete lie.
Kinda hoping to throw a top end kit on for under $300........ and keep it as a spare sled.....

My 600SB is an awesome machine! Really happy with it thus far !

Unfortunately, I decided to run my 600REV last weekend in hopes to get 10,000 miles on it. At the 9995 mile mark, she let go  :'( Last five miles were on a tow rope back to the Greekshack.
Gives me something to do in the off season I suppose.....  It's going to turn into a back up / kids sled.....

My brother is up near Land-O-Lakes, Wi and sent me this yesterday. The satellite quite working so someone had to go up on the roof of the cabin and shovel it out! :thumbsupsmileyanim:
Looks like it was easier getting down than climbing up!

I'm bringing a 25 foot roof rake with me b/c I was having some ice dams form and water dripping into the greekshack.
DB that build the place back in 1999 installed the metal decking direct to the roof rafters (no plywood / no ice water membrane). Place never had heat or power until I purchased it, so now I'm having some issues when the heat is on..... I usually don't complain about 4-5 feet of snow, because it typically sheets off the metal roof, but it came down all at once and it seems to want to stay up on there for some reason....

1,000 miles on the new sled this year and 200 miles on my old one. Having a decent season !  :thumbsupsmileyanim:

Last few from the first ride of the season. Have lots more pics from rides 2,3,4,5 but no time to download right now.

Hoping this site does a rebound, b/c she's been barely alive lately....

Built a New Years eve bonfire with some dear friends !
