Vintage muscle, one the best bombers IMO.

Spotted one of those in a barn in Green Bay this last weekend (Sat March 23rd) Of course there were about 199 others that were older.
We were on a tour from the AWSC Convention. I do believe that it was the newest one I remember. The guy actually had 236 sleds but only about 200 on display.

Sad day today. Heading out to close gates.
It's a shame, lots of snow out there.
There is water moving everywhere so its getting a little dicey for those that don't like to water skip.
Only 175 days till the first day of winter.  :sledder:
Now we just have to suffer through Spring................
I think you need to add 101 days to your number. Wish it was 175

He he, maybe we better. Hope the snow haters didn't see that !

I also have had a blast up in Vilas……..Did the Vintage run with a few of my John Deere sleds for the Hall of Fame …..Ride With the Champs………..Just perfect conditions!

Was hoping to Get one more ride in ……….But unfortunately not to be.

I too have noticed not a lot of action on the John Deere boards or a few others I monitor.

Personally I blame FaceBook………Now a group can run all there info on their facebook page and not worry about maintenance or fees to run the site.
Unfortunately I can’t bring myself to join that cluster F##K…..So it has ruined the old boards I grew used to for years!………..maybe sometime I may have to reconsider joining…..but not now!

Know what you mean about Face Book.
Something I hate about fb is nothing stays posted.
You will get the same stupid question every day for days in a row......
What date do trails close ? Simply because it disappears in a short time.

Tuesday evening we met two of your Barnestormer Groomers. First the wheeled tractor and then Soucy version.
Think it was this morn we rode past your groomer shed. The wheeled version was sitting out in the driveway.
Kind of interesting to me. I groom out of Brule and meet up on the Bayfield Cty line with Barnestormer trails from Barnes.
(South of Iron River)

Of course our trails are nicer.  ;)  We have more snow. :nana: Can't say that about southern part of our county.
Most of our club's system runs a lot of east and west so the lower end of our Trail 27A has just enough.............

Thanks for the good job with the amount of snow you have. We had a good time.

They only get a week or two depending on where. We have the rest of the winter.
Let them get stuck freezing $#*! down.

Winter is working it's way in.
Out doing some last minute signing in several inches of snow yesterday.
The thermometer had a pretty small number this morn...    2.6 degrees.
Couple guys had a little below 0.
But Wednesday is supposed to be a high of 38 then pretty much stay under freezing.

Hal that depends on which version of the 900 she bought. If it's the non turbo 900 I'll give the nod to the the Yam but very close.  Turbo 900 will eat up the Yammie.  If it matters?
She bought the non turbo. She did consider the 1200 that was $500 cheaper, but got the lighter sled.

Even though it's less hp I much prefer our 900 to our 1200. I only drive the 1200 when the wife is around............... ;)

That "Coyote" had to be some hacker or something....the original, gpoing back to the TC.com days and beyond, lived on Drummond Island where his wife was Postmaster (Misterss?) if I'm not mistaken. Carl (real first name, can't remember surname) died more than a decade ago....

Rode with Carl part of a day on Drummond Island till the crank went in my Indy 500......... (pretty sure he was married)
He gave me and the Indy a ride to St Ignace.
Interesting about his opinion on 2nd homes. (I'm assuming he was a Lefty)
Greekboys idea of a sledding cabin is one of the few times you could EVER convince me of a 2nd home was a good idea.
Kind'a like having a wife AND a girl friend. Good God ! One of each is enough !

Live'n the dream. Don't have a Railroad pension but don't have to shoot bill collectors either.
Fall is here. Couple cool raw days in a row here. No temps under 40 yet... (But today is barely 50)
Just wandered back from two weeks camping our way across ND, eastern MT, eastern WY and SD.
Had a cool couple nights in MT and WY, 38 degrees in a CG in the Bighorn NF up by Medicine Wheel. Another night somewhere was 42.  (heater nights)
Spent a couple nights up in Bighorn Canyon Rec Area north of Lovell WY. (said to be the third biggest canyon in the country) but camp grounds are actually in MT.
End of a dead end road 25 miles from town. So quiet you could hear the gas fridge hissing at night.   :specool:

88 days till the first day of winter.

Noticed a few trees turning in the higher gravel (drier) country this week in NW Wis. (I'm about 20 miles east of Duluth MN and 6-8 miles south inland of Lake Superior).
We've had a wet early summer here, heavy rainfall, flash flooding to the south and east of here. US Hwy 2 is still closed for bridge repair west of Ashland. Our club lucked out with not too much damage from flash flooding. Only went over our grade in three places in a small area.
Southern part of our county around Solon Springs was hit pretty hard along with Eastern Bayfield and Ashland County's section of Trail 2  (Tri County Corridor).

Now, wet as it was earlier we haven't had much rain lately, thus some of the trees turning a little early.

Now we're out mowing and grading our Summer ATV railroad grades.
