RD, are you OK?
« on: October 16, 2019, 08:04:36 AM »
Just thought I would check to make sure you were ok after last nights finish of the Cards for the year. They showed up to play 1 inning too late. Well really I guess 3 games and 1 inning too late!
Now you can use the old Cub fan saying, "Wait till next year."
Life is tough, but it's tougher if you're stupid!
You have 2 ears and 1 mouth. Use them proportionally!

Doing just fine. Cards were inconsistent all year. Didn't expect them to beat the Braves, and the Nats simply have a powerhouse pitching staff.  Wait till next year? Nah. Making October red again is enough. For now!

Between going to  Milwaukee and St Louis, we seen 26 games. Final week was exciting, 4 game sweep in Chitcago  :thumbsupsmileyanim:

Was in St Germain for the final weekend and holding off Brewers was fun. Great to win the division again, but highlight of games attended was all 3 games we were at in St lou when Albert was back. Standing o's every at bat. Something I will always treasure.

My fav Vet Wainwright proved he still had it down the stretch, and his playoff starts. Hope he's back next season
