Found this on Arctic Chat. Neat idea, wish it had a little more detail, but kinda cool. I know some here have a database or such on their own.

We've got one on the Sportster forum also. It filled up in a day. I think its pretty cool myself. Give you an idea of what part of the state or country your from.

Here you go. I set one up.

I saw that over on DOO awhile back and paid little to no attention.  Pretty cool, I didn't know Wayne lived that far south.  Hell, almost Florida...no wonder why... :P

Well I screwed up and entered camp under our home zip code. Vince, can you remove my entry for the camp in Elmer?
I understand the dilemma. Correct spelling takes time that could be spent licking the windows on the short bus.

No sir... I don't like it!

Doesn't work right... Looks to me like an online singles site, the mullets even write profiles as if they're trying to pick-up something. For example.

Hey guys any one wants to get to gether for a ride my name is Nathan Brown and I am nitrosleds on ar....

The rest was cutoff, cause the map thing don't work right... Butt I think there's some code in this guy's profile? Niiiiicccee Mazda (wink, wink)

Pretty close.  It must put the pin smack in the center of the specified zip.  Here's the actual location (on the lake) for those who've been there and might be curious...

Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

The pin on mine actually ended up only about 5 blocks away from my house.

Correct Matt, it's called a zip code centroid.  A lot of commercial geo-coders (the practice of obtaining a latitude and longitude) use zip code level data.  Getting down to street level geocoding requires a ton more data.
